Rates Policy

Rates are inclusive of 10% GST and quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Child Policy

Children under 12 years old are allowed to share the room without additional charges using the existing bedding.

Age Policy

Guests under 18 are not permitted to stay at the Hotel unless they are accompanied by a legal guardian or responsible adult.

Rollaway Beds

The maximum number of persons for each room type is two. One additional rollaway bed is available at AUD80 per night. It is not possible to have a rollaway bed in Ocean Front Lux rooms

Airport Shuttle

On-Demand airport shuttle is available to Monkey Mia airport for $25 per person each way. Book and pay at reception

Parking Fee

There is ample free parking at Heritage Resort Shark Bay. Secure underground parking is available for $15 per day. Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Payment is made at reception.

*Please note our carpark has a maximum clearance height of 1.9 metres and is subject to availability.

Accessibility

Wheelchair-accessible rooms and bathrooms are available at the Hotel. As this is an old building, these rooms do not meet Australian Standards. Please contact reception for specifications.

Smoking Rooms

Heritage Resort Shark Bay has a no-smoking policy. Please speak with our team for designated smoking areas. Smoking in rooms will incur a penalty of $200, and if the room is unable to be rented out, guests will be charged for the number of days it is unavailable.

Foul Smells

Fresh fish and cooking in the guest rooms is not permitted. If there is a strong odour in the room after check out, guests will be charged a penalty of $200, and if the room is unable to be rented out, guests will be charged for the number of days it is unavailable.

Ocean Front Lux Rooms

For the comfort and safety of our guests there is only a maximum of two guests permitted in Ocean Front Lux rooms at all times. Heritage Resort Shark Bay imposes a strict no party and excessive noise policy at all times.

Immediate eviction without refund will be strictly enforced without warning to any person(s) found to be creating excessive noise, having a party in the suite or exceeding the number of permitted guests.

Damage to any linens, furniture, electronic equipment or to any part of the room will be charged to guests.

Advance Purchase

Please note that reservations for advance purchases are strictly non-refundable. In the event of a refund approved by the hotel management due to unforeseen circumstances, the Hotel will not be held responsible for any foreign currency exchange loss or transaction fee by the issuing bank.

Check-in Policy

At the time of check-in, Heritage Resort Shark Bay requires a valid form of photo identification and physical credit card matching the provided photo identification and reservation details. Check-in may be refused if guests are unable to provide adequate Photo Identification and Payment Security.

Heritage Resort Shark Bay will accept the following photographic identification documents :
  • A physical, valid and current Australian state or territory driver's licence or;
  • A physical, valid and current Australian or foreign passport or;
  • A physical, valid and current Australian state or territory proof of age card
  • Photo identification will be recorded. No digital forms of photographic identification will be accepted

Payment Policy

Credit and Debit Card

At the time of check-in, Heritage Resort Shark Bay requires a physical credit or debit card to be provided for the room. The credit card provided must match the name of the reservation. Government issued photo ID must be presented at time of check-in.

We may Pre-Authorise up to the total amount of the stay plus an additional AUD100 per night. Whilst no monies will be transferred from your credit card to the hotel's account until you check out, your credit card provider will reserve the funds under guarantee to the hotel.

If on check out you elect to use an alternative method of payment to settle your account, your credit card provider may take several days to cancel the reserve which has been placed on your card. Unfortunately, the hotel has no control over the timing of this. If full payment of the account is not received, all guests agree to Pan Pacific Perth deducting any outstanding balance from the credit or debit card provided. No digital credit or debit cards are accepted.

Other payment methods

At the time of check-in, full payment of accommodation is required plus an additional cash or EFTPOS payment of AUD200 per night as security for any incidental costs. The unused portion of the bond will be refunded at checkout.

Damage to Rooms and Resort Property

Any damage to rooms or resort property will incur a $500 fee plus replacement/repair cost.

Additional Services

Our staff are happy to assist with errands such as parcel collection, photocopying and printing, to room delivery when available. A assistance fee of $20 per 15 minutes will apply
